Setup and cleanup access is agreed for each event. Saturday barn bookings may allow access from Wednesday morning to Monday afternoon; confirm this with the venue. The main church building must be completely tidied before leaving on Saturday night, ahead of Sunday volunteers arriving at 8am. Barn cleanup is more flexible.
Renters must provide at least $2 million in commercial general liability insurance and name High Country United Church as an additional insured. Coverage must include all access dates, including setup and cleanup. A booking deposit and a separate damage deposit are required; confirm the amounts with the venue.
Prior written venue approval is required, together with all applicable permits and legal requirements. Renters arrange their licence, Smart Serve server and alcohol. No alcohol is permitted in the chapel, including when booking a combined package.
The main church building has an accessible lift, two accessible gender-neutral single-stall washrooms and a change table. Discuss specific accessibility needs, including barn access, before booking. Accessible routes must remain clear.
Food-truck accommodations are considered on request. Main-building water is tested and UV treated; the property uses septic. The barn has a dry bar without running water; water access can be discussed. For larger barn events, particularly those longer than three hours, portable washrooms may be required.
Two small parking lots are available; the venue states parking is also permitted on both sides of the road. Renters remove garbage and recycling unless otherwise agreed. Event décor and dishes are available as add-ons; ask about inventory and bundled pricing.
